Not English but Tamil is our Mother Tongue. Yet glorious English has become an indispensable language in the modern world. It is indeed the Mother tongue of the Britishers. But it is known as the International Language. It has become the Link language. Steps are taken to impart the knowledge of English to all lovers of Learning. In spite of it many students find it difficult to acquire the four linguistic skills viz listening, speaking, reading and writing. Because of the inability to improve their English students in general memorise essays and summaries without knowing their meaning. They are not able to learn other subjects through the medium of English easily.
