BARNACLES MATING OPTIMIZER AND ITS APPLICATIONS

This book contains the development of a recent algorithm, namely Barnacles Mating Optimizer (BMO), and its application in various fields of optimization problems such as in power system operation and control, relay coordination, brain tumor detection, as well as a hybrid model of BMO with machine learning technique called Least Squares Support Vector Machines (LS-SVM). The performances of BMO for each topic discussed in this book have been simulated and compared with the well-known optimizers that can be obtained from the literature, and the results show the flexibility of BMO and its capability in solving the topics of interest.
