This book was written to help students understand the processes, tools, and techniques needed to successfully manage their mini projects. In real life, project management is complicated. This is a good lesson because students who have learn on how to manage projects well will always be a demand for their services. Project management is complicated because projects consist of many activities with variety of complexity and project managers must understand several techniques to successfully manage a project. Some older content such as performance evaluation and review technique (PERT) for measuring the total project time estimation have been greatly eliminated. The coverage of other topics has been increased such as earned value analysis (EVA). The content of Project Management Second Edition is enhanced by the addition of new embedded slides during lecture, selected student projects and sample of assessment to improve the quality of student’s understanding.
