STRUCTURED INDUSTRIAL TRAINING MODULE AND ASSESSMENT FOR BACHELOR OF CIVIL ENGINEERIING

This handbook is an assessment guideline for the Bachelor of Civil Engineering students who are currently undergoing the Structured Industrial Training. This book explains in detail the Structured Industrial Training modules developed in collaboration with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) which was adopted at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Earth Resources, Universiti Malaysia Pahang over the last five years. This Structured Industrial Training is carried out in collaboration with CIDB where students who have completed the training will be awarded the Certificate of Participation by the CIDB. This certificate is one of the added values to the students which most of them will serve in the engineering and construction field. However, this scoring guide can be applied to other engineering courses related to the field of construction. The assessment types involved are described in this handbook includes evaluation during training, log books or training daily reports, final report assessments and presentation session evaluations.
